What is the purpose of STATUS groups?

Status groups are used to manage your WORKFLOW. The new leads are stored in the “Leads not processed yet” group. As soon as you process a lead (review them or call them) you will transition that lead into one of the other groups: for example if you working on that lead and having a follow up campaign scheduled to it, you will put it into “Deals in Progress” group; if you decided that the lead is worthless you will assign it to “Dead Leads” group. Once you have a contract pending on a lead, you will assign it to “Pending” group.

To easily process the workflow, use the Group Membership tab in your Contact View. It takes a single click to move a contact through the Status groups.
